School was okay despite the fact that I spend most of my lesson time at the laptop & daydreaming instead of paying full attention to class. lol...
last weekend, i watched two of my favorite teams Spain & Holland clashed at the world cup final, and guess what?
it turned out to be quite an awful match! There were 47 fouls committed altogether by both teams, with 28 from the dutch due to poor, missed-time tackles, not only that, they also suffered 8 yellow cards & a red. as a supporter of netherlands, i would say that their approach to this game was very uncharacteristic and disappointing..
why would an attacking-minded team with players like Robben, Sneijder, Van der vaart, Kuyt, Huntelaar, adopt such an overly cautious & violent tatic all of sudden?
holland should be constantly pressing spain up front instead of building a 9 man stonewall defense while waiting for a chance to counter-attack
anyway, i'm glad to see a deserving team like Spain come out on top in the end although they could have done that without going through extra time...
